After many years of tremendous effort to enable citizens have electronic access to public services provided via the Internet, the Regional Government of Madrid has made the implementation of Information and Knowledge Society amongst citizens and companies a reality.
It has been a successful journey made possible also thanks to the initiative of ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers). Besides consolidating the implementation of the Information Society it also provides the citizens with a powerful tool to globally promote the Community of Madrid, encouraging economic activity in the Region.
Within the context of the digital transformation of the Autonomous Administration, in which it continues betting on the use of Information Technologies (Tic's) to improve efficiency, streamline procedures and improve transparency and savings, the Agency for the Digital Administration of the Community of Madrid (MadridDigital), is the competent entity, as the authority for assignment, registration and resolution of disputes, regarding the domain of the first level .madrid
